Meet the Team
Justin Creech
Justin Creech is co-owner of Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolina’s. He and his wife Tonya reside in Southeastern North Carolina. They have 2 children (Liam and Hollyn) and 3 dogs (Dozer, Isla and Mallard). Justin has spent most of his working career as a Corrections nurse however he has always been a lover of the great outdoors. That love took on a whole new meaning when he co-founded Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolina’s in 2017. Justin’s face is one you will see at most installs and service visits. He goes above and beyond to ensure that each customer is happy and that each dog is safely contained. He performs on site dog training and ensures that the owner fully understands what is needed for their dog to be successful before leaving each home. Justin is a firm believer in the efficacy of the Dog Guard fencing system. It has proven itself time and time again with his own precious pups. Justin’s goal is for everyone to experience the same peace of mind that he has and for each dog to have the freedom that they deserve.
Landon Simmons
Landon is the co-owner of Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolinas. He is a native to Southeastern North Carolina where he resides with his wife Kristin and 3 children, Cullen, Canyn, and Copelan. Landon has 2 pups, a very shy cane corso named Trooper, and an extremely overweight (but cute) English bulldog named Mac.
Landon has worked most of his career as a registered nurse, specializing in cardiothoracic surgery and critical care. In 2017, he discovered his passion outside of healthcare, when he co-founded Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolinas. This is where Landon learned the value of providing pet owners with freedom and peace of mind while providing safety for their pets. Landon’s initial role with Dog Guard consisted of sales, quotes, warranties, order fulfillment, and accounting. In 2021, he relinquished his office duties to his wife, Kristin, who still functions in that role today. Landon currently assists Kristin with office duties, completes installations, performs repairs, and works with some of our “unruly” pups that may need specialized training for containment.
Kristin Simmons
Kristin Simmons is the wife of co-owner, Landon Simmons. Together they have 3 children, Cullen, Canyn, and Copelan and 2 dogs, Trooper and Mac.
While being a stay at home mom, Kristin joined the Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolinas team in June of 2021 after working 13 years in healthcare. She handles sales calls, billing and financing, service scheduling, warranty replacements, and shipping for our online store. If you call our office 99% of the time, she will be the voice you hear on the other end of the line. Kristin realizes firsthand the importance of having freedom from a leash, not only for your pet, but for you as a pet owner. Using a Dog Guard system with her own dogs gives her peace of mind that they are safely contained in their yard allowing her the opportunity to care for her children while working with our business.
Trey Strickland
Trey Strickland joined the Dog Guard of the Coastal Carolinas team in 2022 upon his retirement from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. During his 22 years as a State Trooper, Trey spent 11 years working as a canine handler. Since joining Dog Guard, Trey has worked with Justin and Landon learning all aspects of installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Dog Guard electronics. In most cases, Trey is always a part of the installation and service of your Dog Guard system. Trey enjoys meeting new customers and brings a vast knowledge of dog training to our team, while always having your pets safety and well being in mind.
